Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 700 g apple sauce, from the jar
- Cinnamon, powder
- 300 g cream
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 3 tbsp Calvados
- 75 g chocolate (wafer-thin bars)
- Pistachios, kernels, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Season the applesauce with cinnamon powder. Whip the cream until stiff, then gently mix with the vanilla sugar and Calvados. Layer the applesauce and cream alternately in a large glass bowl or four serving bowls, placing a few chocolate bars in each layer of cream. Finish with a layer of cream, also garnished with chocolate bars. Dust with cinnamon powder, if desired. Sprinkle with pistachios and serve.
