Carrot cake with spicy minced meat

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 4 carrots
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 2 tsp Italian herbs, dried
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a dough from flour, butter, 1 egg, and a pinch of salt and chill for 30 minutes. Peel and slice the carrots. Fry the minced meat in oil, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the carrots and braise. Line a springform pan with the dough. Pour in the minced meat and carrot mixture. Mix the remaining eggs, sour cream, herbs, and crushed garlic, season, pour over the mixture, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 200°C for about 45 minutes. Also delicious with puff pastry.
