Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 250g Camembert(s)
  • 60 g butter
  • 2 tbsp Calvados
  • 3 stalk(s) baguette(s), sliced
  • Salt (Fleur de Sel)
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Shred the Camembert slightly, especially the rind, and knead it with the softened butter until smooth. Add the Calvados and mix well. Spread the mixture onto the baguette slices and bake in the oven at 180°C (convection oven – grilling is even better) until the cheese begins to melt. Season with pepper and fleur de sel and serve warm.
