Freeze cheese and leek soup – that’s how it works
Freezing the cheese and leek soup has a number of advantages: On the one hand, you always have something to hand if you want to make something to eat quickly. On the other hand, the cheese and leek soup is generally very popular, so you are almost always right with it, even if you have unexpected visitors.
- Appropriate freezer containers that can be closed well are of course important for freezing the cheese and leek soup.
- It is also recommended to freeze the cheese and leek soup in portions. If the cheese and leek soup is securely packed in freezer containers, it can easily be stored for six months.
- If you have enough time, let the frozen cheese and leek soup thaw out a little before slowly heating it up in a saucepan. Alternatively, add a little warm water and a tablespoon of cooking oil to the saucepan before adding the frozen cheese and leek soup.
