Cappuccino – Waffles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • 4 tsp coffee (cappuccino powder – instant)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 75 ml milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Fat for the waffle iron
  • 1 pack of ice cream (walnut ice cream)
  • some brittle

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy, then stir in the egg. Combine the flour with the baking powder, cappuccino powder, and salt. Alternately stir the milk and flour mixture into the butter mixture. Add the vanilla sugar and let the batter rest for 15 minutes. Preheat and grease the waffle iron. Pour the batter into the waffle iron in batches and bake 4 waffles one after the other. Serve the waffles on plates with walnut ice cream and praline.
