Cappuccino Wreath
The perfect cappuccino wreath recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 4 Eggs
- 200 g Sugar
- 200 g Butter
- 200 g Sour cream
- 6 tablespoon Cappuccino powder
- 6 tablespoon Water
- Mix the flour with the baking powder and vanilla sugar.
- Mix the eggs with the sugar until frothy, add the softened butter and the sour cream.
- Now stir in the flour mixture until a smooth dough is formed.
- Mix the cappuccino powder with a little water and stir into the batter.
- Grease a wreath shape, fill in the dough and put it into the 180c. warm oven for approx. 45 minutes — do a chopstick test –
- Take the cake out of the oven, let it rest a little, then cool and garnish with cure or powdered sugar as you wish.
- Now make a cup of coffee, put your feet up and enjoy the cake — Bon appetit; 🙂
