Cappuccino Wreath

The perfect cappuccino wreath recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 6 tablespoon Cappuccino powder
  • 6 tablespoon Water
  1. Mix the flour with the baking powder and vanilla sugar.
  2. Mix the eggs with the sugar until frothy, add the softened butter and the sour cream.
  3. Now stir in the flour mixture until a smooth dough is formed.
  4. Mix the cappuccino powder with a little water and stir into the batter.
  5. Grease a wreath shape, fill in the dough and put it into the 180c. warm oven for approx. 45 minutes — do a chopstick test –
  6. Take the cake out of the oven, let it rest a little, then cool and garnish with cure or powdered sugar as you wish.
  7. Now make a cup of coffee, put your feet up and enjoy the cake — Bon appetit; 🙂
