Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 large onions
  • some oil
  • some paprika powder, sweet
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • some brown cane sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Slice the onions into rings and fry them in a pan with a little oil. When the onions begin to turn translucent, add the paprika and mix to achieve a nice color. When the onions are cooked to your liking, increase the heat and sprinkle them with the brown sugar to caramelize. We like to use these onions when making burgers, but they also go perfectly with a delicious schnitzel, liver with mashed potatoes, and much more.
