Caramelized pumpkin seeds

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g pumpkin seeds
  • Cinnamon
  • vanilla sugar
  • instant coffee

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Melt the granulated sugar in a pan and let it brown slightly. Remove from the heat, stir in 100g of pumpkin seeds, and let the resulting chewy mixture cool on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Then break it into pieces and enjoy immediately or sprinkle it over desserts as a sweet garnish. You can also make this snack yourself in cinnamon, vanilla, or coffee flavors. Simply roll pumpkin seeds first in egg white, then in either ground cinnamon, vanilla sugar, or instant coffee, and dry them in the oven at 90°C for half an hour.
