Caraway Seeds on Boiled Potatoes
The perfect caraway seeds on boiled potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 medium sized White cabbage
- 1 size Onion
- 30 g Coconut oil
- 2 tbsp Vegetable salt *
- 2 tbsp Caraway seed
- 2 tbsp Sweet paprika
- Water to fill up
- Pepper a.d.M
- Remove the first 2 to 3 leaves from the white cabbage and then cut the cabbage into small pieces. Peel and chop the onion and toss in the coconut oil.
- Add the sliced cabbage, the vegetable salt and sear it well, add the paprika in between and continue stewing.
- Depending on your choice of browning of the cabbage, fill up with water, add the caraway seeds, cover with a lid and bring the whole thing to a boil, simmer for about 45 minutes and stir occasionally.
- When the cabbage is done, turn it off and let it steep.
- We had boiled potatoes with it.
