Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 380 g flour
  • 210 g butter, cold
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Combine the egg yolks, vanilla sugar, and salt in a mixer. Crumble the flour into the butter. Add the powdered sugar and egg yolks to the flour and butter and knead into a dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 180°C and roll out the dough to a thickness of about 3 mm on a lightly floured surface. Cut out with shapes of your choice and bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper for about 11 minutes until light golden brown. Decorate as desired.
