Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 onions
  • 200 g carrot(s)
  • 20 g margarine
  • 500 g minced beef
  • ¾ liter vegetable broth
  • 340 g tomato ketchup
  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • 500 g kidney beans (can)
  • salt and pepper
  • Tabasco
  • Cayenne pepper
  • garlic powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the onions and slice into rings. Peel the carrots and finely dice them. Heat the margarine in a saucepan and brown the minced meat. Add the onion rings and carrots and fry briefly. Pour in the vegetable stock and tomato ketchup. Cook for about 15 minutes. Add the sauerkraut and kidney beans and let stand for 5 minutes. Season to taste. Serve hot.
