Carolina Reaper olive oil

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 15 chili peppers (Carolina Reaper)
  • 1 liter olive oil
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 7 days; Total time approx. 7 days 10 minutes

Split the Carolina Reaper peppers and remove the stems. Place them in a clean, pasteurized jar. Add a pinch of salt, if desired, and drizzle with olive oil. Screw the lid tightly on and let stand for at least a week. The oil will then have a fruity, spicy, and hot flavor. The peppers can, of course, be removed and eaten after a while. They also make a great souvenir.
