Carol's fiery pasta salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 300 g minced meat
  • 250 g pasta (butterfly pasta)
  • Cayenne pepper
  • ½ bottle of tomato ketchup or a little more
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp vinegar (red wine vinegar)
  • lemon juice
  • Sugar
  • 1 small jar of cucumber(s) (gherkins)
  • 1 small jar of baby corn

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta. Sauté the onion until translucent. Fry the minced meat with salt and plenty of cayenne pepper until crumbly. Add the ketchup. Combine the pasta and minced meat in a bowl, mix, and let cool. Chop the gherkins and baby corn and add them. Salad dressing: Combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon, salt, pepper, and sugar. Drizzle over the pasta and minced meat salad. Mix well and serve with white bread.
