Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g cheese of your choice (e.g. Gouda)
- 3 m.-large carrot(s)
- 2 eggs
- 8 tbsp oat flakes, fine
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp vegetable broth, granulated
- 1 onion(s)
- pepper
- nutmeg
- oil

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Meatballs without meat
Grate the cheese or use grated cheese, add the peeled carrots, and mix in. Dice the onion and add it to the carrot and cheese mixture along with the oatmeal, tomato paste, eggs, and granulated broth. Season with pepper and nutmeg and let stand for a few minutes. Shape the mixture into small patties and fry in a moderate amount of oil until golden brown on both sides. Delicious served hot or cold.
