Carrot and potato soup with Mettwurst and onions

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 2 liters of water
  • 600 g potatoes
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 3 Mettwurst sausages
  • 4 cubes of meat broth or vegetable broth
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Peel and dice the onion. Cut the Mettenden sausages in half. Peel and dice the potatoes and carrots. Place everything in a pot with the meat or vegetable broth and water and simmer until the carrots and potatoes are tender. Season with pepper.
