Carrot-orange-apple-cucumber-avocado smoothie

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 3 large carrots
  • 3 oranges
  • 2 apples
  • 150 g cucumber(s)
  • ¼ avocado(s)
  • e.g. fine oat flakes, instant flakes, chia seeds or flax seeds, e.g. 1-2 tbsp

Peel, wash, and slice the carrots (organic vegetables do not need to be peeled). Peel the oranges and slice or juice them. Wash the apples, remove the cores, and slice them. Wash, peel, and slice the cucumber. Halve the avocado and scoop out the flesh with a large spoon. Add the orange and cucumber pieces to the blender first, followed by the remaining ingredients. Blend everything until smooth. If it’s not liquid enough, add cold water if desired. The smoothie can be enhanced with finely ground oats, instant flakes, flaxseed, or chia seeds.
