Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g carrot(s), raw
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 4 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • salt and pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs (frozen)
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

simple and delicious

Wash and peel the carrots, and cut them into approximately 3-5 mm thick slices. Then boil the carrot slices in hot water until al dente. After cooking, drain the slices and let them cool. Dice the onion and season with vinegar, oil, mustard, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, water, and herbs to make a salad dressing. Then add the carrots. Let them simmer for about 1 hour.
