Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 thick carrots
- 250 g natural yogurt
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- some lemon juice or lime juice
- salt and pepper
- some olive oil or rapeseed oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Peel or grate the carrots and then finely grate them. Pour the lime or lemon juice over them. Peel the garlic and either chop it very finely or press it through a garlic press. Mix the yogurt with the pepper, salt, garlic, and oil, then stir in the carrots. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. It goes well with bread or baguette. We also like to eat it on a chicken sandwich, or we top a roll with a lukewarm turkey fillet and then top it with carrot tzatziki.
