Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 m.-large carrot(s)
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • lemon juice
  • Chives, in rolls

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Delicious lukewarm carrot salad

Peel the carrots and blanch them whole (cut very thick ones lengthwise if necessary, but do not chop them) in a pot with a little salted water until al dente – max. 6 minutes. In the meantime, mix the remaining ingredients to make a marinade. Remove the carrots, cut them into bite-sized pieces, and add them to the marinade while still warm. Let them sit for a while, then enjoy lukewarm! It tastes delicious as a side dish to grilled meat.
