Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g carrot(s)
- 1 small piece(s) of ginger root, approx. thumb-sized
- 1 small piece(s) of butter
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 1 handful of parsley, flat
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Peel and slice the carrots. Peel and finely chop a thumb-sized piece of ginger. Briefly sauté in a knob of butter in a saucepan over very low heat. Add the carrots. Season with salt and sugar. Cover and simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste with pepper and finely chopped parsley.
