great for bento and rice dishes

Slice the carrots into long strips with a vegetable peeler or cut them into medium-thick, 7 cm long sticks with a knife. Heat sesame oil in a pan and fry the carrots until well-sautéed. Add cayenne pepper and chili flakes and continue frying. Then add soy sauce and salt and continue tossing as usual. When the carrots are lightly browned around the edges or look nicely “fried” overall, add the sesame seeds. Toss briefly and continue to process. This dish is also delicious for those who don’t usually like carrots. It’s very popular in Japanese bento lunch boxes because it’s also delicious served cold. It’s also delicious served warm over rice with other side dishes!
