Ingredients

Flesh:

  • 400 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 1 x Herbal Gyros Marinade

Vegetables and sauce:

  • 1 middle Red Onion
  • 2 Red pointed peppers
  • 1 Peppers yellow
  • 1 Zucchini
  • 2 tbsp Cold pressed olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth hot
  • 100 g Cream
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Salsa sauce
  • 1 tsp Honey liquid
  • 10 Olives with herbs, glass
  • 5 Mild hot peppers, glass

Spices:

  • Sea salt, colored pepper from the mill
  • 0,5 tsp Red chilli flakes

For gratinating:

  • 100 g Grated Gouda
  • 100 g Crumbled feta cheese

To garnish:

  • 2 Diced vine tomatoes

Instructions

  • Rinse the chicken breast fillets, pat dry and remove fat and tendons. Cut into bite-sized pieces and mix with the marinade. Let it steep for about 2 hours.
  • For the preparation, peel the onion, clean and wash the peppers and zucchini. Cut everything into cubes. Drain the olives and peppers, cut both into slices or rings. Wash the tomatoes, cut out the stalk and dice the pulp. Mix the two types of cheese.
  • Heat the olive oil in a pan. Sauté the onion, bell pepper and zucchini for about 7-8 minutes. Season lightly with sea salt, pepper and the chilli flakes. Stir in tomato paste and fry briefly.
  • Deglaze the pan with the vegetable stock and cream. Stir in sour cream, salsa sauce and honey. Bring everything to the boil, then simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees (top and bottom heat).
  • Heat another pan. Let the marinade drain a little from the meat. Fry the meat all around until it has turned some color (do not fry completely). Season with sea salt.
  • Put the olives and peppers in the sauce and heat them briefly. Season the sauce again with the spices, then transfer to a large baking dish. Spread the meat over it and stir in a little.
  • Sprinkle the casserole evenly with the cheese. Bake in the middle of the hot oven for about 30-35 minutes until the cheese is golden brown. Remove, serve with the desired side dishes and garnish with the diced tomatoes.
  • We ate tsatsiki, potato wedges and a cucumber salad with it. Alternatively, z. B. also tomato rice, french fries and coleslaw. Each as he likes. Have fun trying it out and enjoy your meal :-).
