Cauliflower casserole

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 600 g minced meat, half/half
  • 200 ml cream
  • 250 g cheese, grated
  • Mixed herbs
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash and boil the cauliflower. Boil and peel the potatoes (jacket potatoes). Season the minced meat with salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs and fry. Deglaze with 200 ml of cream and simmer. Place half of the potatoes (sliced) in a greased baking dish, top with the minced meat, add the rest of the potatoes, and then arrange the cauliflower florets on top. Spread the remaining cream on top and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at approximately 180 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
