Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

very easy and quick to prepare

First, wash and trim the cauliflower, and separate it into individual florets. Then boil it in a little salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, finely dice the onion and press or finely chop the garlic. Add the chopped onion to a pan and sauté until translucent. Add the garlic and sage, and season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, add the gnocchi to boiling, salted water. When the gnocchi float to the surface, they are ready. Remove the gnocchi from the water with a slotted spoon, add them to the pan with the onions, garlic, and sage, and toss to coat. Add the cooked cauliflower to the pan and serve while still warm. If you prefer, you can also refine this dish with fresh, finely chopped mushrooms.
