Oatmeal Walnut Cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 175 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 150 g oat flakes
  • 75 g walnuts, chopped
  • 50 g chocolate shavings

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Make a dough from flour, baking powder, butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and egg. Then stir in the oats, walnuts, and chocolate shavings. Form small balls of the dough (or scoop out small balls with a teaspoon) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 12 minutes. I use whole-grain oats and milk chocolate shavings. I also usually buy pre-made walnut halves in a bag; they’re quick and easy to chop. You can also use margarine instead of butter. It’s all a matter of taste.
