Celery and carrot soup

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400 g celery
  • 400 g carrot(s)
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 liter vegetable broth
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Roughly dice the onions, celery, and carrots and briefly sauté them with butter in a pan. Pour in the broth and simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir in 2 tablespoons of crème fraîche and puree everything. Stir in the marjoram and season with salt and pepper. Add a dollop of crème fraîche to the soup before serving.
