Cheese and cream casserole with tomatoes

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300 g pasta
  • Water (salt water)
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 200 g bacon, diced
  • 400 g cream
  • 400 g cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 250 g cocktail tomatoes
  • 250g mozzarella

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Fry the diced bacon in the vegetable oil until crispy, then add the cream and bring to a boil. Add the cream cheese and melt. Season with pepper and nutmeg, adding a little more salt if desired. Halve the cherry tomatoes and place them in a baking dish with the pasta. Pour the cream and cheese sauce over the tomatoes. Slice the mozzarella and spread it over the pasta. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (fan: 200°C, gas mark 3) for about 20 minutes, until the mozzarella is crispy brown.
