These are the ingredients for the cheese and leek soup with minced meat
The listed ingredients are enough for 3-4 people. Bread or baguette also goes wonderfully with the soup. You can add this to the list of ingredients if you wish.
- 500g minced beef
- 300g processed cheese
- 3 sticks of leeks
- 1 cup of crème fraîche
- Beef or vegetable broth in about 750ml water
- 1 onion or onion powder
- 1 clove of garlic or garlic powder
- Salt, Pepper & Nutmeg
- Some olive oil
How to prepare the soup
Once you have the ingredients in front of you, you can assemble the soup in a few simple steps.
- Peel or wash the onion and leek and then cut into small pieces.
- Now pour the oil into a saucepan, heat it up, and add the minced meat.
- When the ground beef has turned color, add the onion and leeks and continue to cook for a few minutes.
- Now add the chopped garlic.
- The next step is to add the water and the vegetable or beef broth.
- Now you should stir in the melted cheese and crème fraîche and let it all simmer.
- Now season with pepper, salt, and nutmeg.
- Depending on your taste, you can experiment with the amount of water, crème fraîche, processed cheese, and spices.
