Cheese – bacon – bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg flour (type 550 or 450)
  • 200 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 200 g bacon
  • 2 packets of yeast (dry yeast)
  • 700 ml water, lukewarm
  • 3 tsp salt
  • Grease for the tray or mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Combine flour, dry yeast, and salt in a bowl and mix. Cut the cheese and bacon into small cubes and mix in. Add the water and knead thoroughly. Let rest for 1 hour. Knead again and place on a greased baking sheet or in a greased dish and let rest for another half hour. Then bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (convection oven) for about 10 minutes, then for about another 60 minutes at 180°C (convection oven).
