Cheese Cannelloni with Minced Meat

The perfect cheese cannelloni with minced meat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Pc. Onion
  • 20 g Margarine
  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 1 Can Tomatoes 400 gr.
  • 140 g Tomato paste
  • 2 Eggs
  • 400 g Herbal cream cheese
  • 1 package Cannelloni
  • 0,375 l Meat broth (cubes)
  • 1 tbsp Sauce thickener
  • 1 a cup Sour cream
  • 100 g Gouda cheese
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg, sugar
  1. Peel and dice the onions and sauté in the hot fat. Add the minced meat and fry. Add tomatoes without liquid and tomato paste and let simmer. Season to taste with salt, pepper, nutmeg and sugar. Mix the eggs with 200 g of herbal cream cheese and add to the minced meat mixture. (Tip: let the mixture cool down before filling the cannelloni, otherwise they will burst!). Pour the mixture into the cannelloni with a teaspoon, then place them in an ovenproof dish. Heat the broth and melt the remaining herbal cream cheese while stirring constantly. Sprinkle in 1 tbsp sauce binder and bring to the boil. Stir in sour cream and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour the sauce over the cannelloni. Grate the Gouda cheese and sprinkle over it. Cook in a preheated oven to 200 ° C for 35 minutes.
