Cheese horns with breadcrumbs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g Hörnli (pasta)
  • 150 g cheese (Appenzeller, Bergkäse or Rässkäse)
  • 100 g margarine
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • Breadcrumbs (Brösmeli)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the macaroni al dente. Meanwhile, grate the Appenzeller cheese and fry the breadcrumbs until golden brown. Serve in layers. A popular Friday meal. Serve with a green salad or applesauce, or as a dessert.
