Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of cheese (sliced ​​cheese, preferably butter cheese, 150 g)
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 25 g butter
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 egg yolks, hard-boiled
  • 1 egg white, hard-boiled
  • 25 g red bell pepper(s)
  • 2 tbsp chives, cut into rolls

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Place the cheese slices with the edges slightly overlapping and form into a plate (approx. 20 x 25 cm). Top this plate with 1-2 slices of ham. Mix the softened butter with mustard, salt, pepper, and the cooked egg yolk. Finely dice the bell pepper (large cubes are difficult to roll) and add to the egg yolk along with the finely chopped egg white and chives. Mix everything together. Spread the mixture evenly over the ham slices and roll them up. Wrap the cheese roll tightly in aluminum foil and let it set in the refrigerator. Slice before serving.
