Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 500 g cheese (medium-aged Gouda), grated
  • 1 packet of yeast (dry yeast)
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 250 ml water
  • 70 ml oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Set aside 100g of the grated Gouda cheese. Mix the cheese with the other dry ingredients in a sealable bowl. Add the water and oil. Cover the bowl and rotate it for about 10 minutes. Note: If you don’t have a lidded bowl, simply let it stand for about 20-30 minutes after mixing. Form the dough into 8 rolls, flattening each one and sprinkling with the remaining cheese. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 30 minutes.
