Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 400 g sausage (hunting sausage)
  • 400 g cheese (e.g. Edam or similar), in one piece
  • 2 onions
  • 1 apple
  • 1 small can/mandarin orange(s)
  • 1 jar mayonnaise
  • 1 egg(s), hard-boiled
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • e.g. ketchup

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 45 minutes

Drain the mandarins and reserve the juice. Mix the mayonnaise with the mandarin juice thoroughly. Season with spices and ketchup. Dice the boiled egg, sausage, cheese, onion, apple, and mandarin oranges into bite-sized pieces and fold in. Let sit in the refrigerator for 1 day.
