Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of cheese (Gouda)
  • 1 pack of ham (cooked ham), without fat
  • 4 onions
  • 2 cups water
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Vinegar
  • oil
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine the spices, oil, vinegar, and water in a large pan. Slice the onions into rings and add them. Sauté until translucent. Meanwhile, dice the cheese. Then pour the still-warm onion broth over the cheese. Let the cheese melt a little; it will taste even better. Once the salad has cooled, stir in the diced ham.
