Cheese Salad with Radishes
The perfect cheese salad with radishes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Mustard vinaigrette:
- 70 g Wine cheese, winemaker’s cheese, etc.
- 3 Pc. Radishes, great
- 0,5 Pc. Vegetable onion, small
- Chilli flakes, a few pinches
- 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp Mustard medium hot
- Salt, pepper as desired
- Cut the radishes into fine slices, place in a sieve, add salt and leave to work for approx. 10 minutes. Wash off briefly with water and drain.
- Cheese (use leftovers here, as only about 70 g each available) into small pieces, cut the onion into half rings. Mix the cheese plus radishes in a bowl with the chilli flakes and mustard dressing. If you have the time, let the salad steep for at least 1 hour.
- If there is fresh chives in the house, you can sprinkle a few rolls on top before serving. Salt and pepper as desired. As an accompaniment to a hearty snack. With pretzel or juicy farmer’s bread.
- Weißlacker is a rare cheese, similar to Romadur, only hotter, racy in taste. For some it takes a lot of getting used to.
- Picture No. 12 is from greeney1812 who served the salad to her birthday guests. Looks great.
