Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 slice(s) cheese, e.g. Cheddar, Gouda
  • 4 slice(s) toast bread, (sandwich toast)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Place two slices of cheese between two slices of toast. Press the toast slices together and place them in the hot oil. Fry the sandwiches, turning frequently, until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy. Flatten the sandwiches with a spatula while cooking.
