Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 3 slices of cheese
  • ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch of garlic salt
  • 1 pinch(s) pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cheese sauce for broccoli

Melt the butter and stir in the flour. Deglaze with milk and stir in the remaining ingredients, adding the cheese a little at a time to prevent sticking or clumping. Cook over medium heat for about 7 minutes, stirring, until the sauce thickens. Serve over cooked broccoli—all American style!
