Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
without raisins
For the dough, mix all ingredients with a dough hook until the dough pulls away from the bowl. Press the dough into a greased 28 cm springform pan with your hands. For the cream, separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with 1/3 of the sugar until stiff peaks form. Mix the remaining sugar with the egg yolks. Add the vanilla sugar and quark. Add the 5 drops of flavoring and the cornstarch along with the milk (you may need more milk). Fold in the stiffly beaten sugar and egg mixture. Pour the mixture into the springform pan and pour it over the dough. Place in a preheated oven (180°C) and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool for 10 minutes, and then bake for about 50 minutes. If you like, you can dust the finished cake with a little powdered sugar.
