Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • 75 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • Fat for the mold
  • 125 g butter
  • 175 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), including the pulp
  • 40 g cornstarch
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 g quark
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 200 g sweet cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Put the ingredients for the dough into a bowl, knead quickly together and set aside. For the filling, mix the butter, sugar, vanilla pod, cornstarch, salt and eggs in a bowl. Then mix in the quark and sour cream. Whisk the sweet cream until stiff peaks form and fold in. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Place the dough in a greased 26cm springform pan and pull up the edges by about 2-3cm. Pour the filling into the pan, smooth it out and bake in the hot oven for one hour. Important: Do not remove the cake from the pan until it has completely cooled, as the quark mixture will still be too soft immediately after removal from the oven.
