Chef Salad with Steak
The perfect chef salad with steak recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 medium sized Eggs
- 150 g Yogurt 10% fat
- 3 tbsp Mayonnaise lightly
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Honey liquid
- Salt and pepper
- 6 Pc. Mini cucumbers
- 0,5 Yellow pepper
- 10 Pc. Cocktail vine tomatoes
- 2 Pc. Shallots
- 200 g Lamb’S lettuce mix
- 200 g Beef rump steak
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 40 g Mountain cheese
- Prick the eggs and cook in boiling water for 7-8 minutes, rinse and peel.
- In the meantime, mix yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice and honey, season with salt and pepper.
- Peel the cucumbers, cut in half and cut into small pieces. Clean the peppers and dice. Quarter the tomatoes. Peel the shallots and cut into rings. Wash the lettuce and spin dry. Mix the vegetables, lettuce and shallots and arrange on plates.
- Roughly dice the steak, season with salt and fry in the hot oil for about 4 minutes. Season with pepper. Quarter the eggs. Coarsely slice or grate the mountain cheese. Put the meat, eggs and cheese on the salad and serve drizzled with the dressing.
