Hack Bean Pan / Stew
The perfect hack bean pan / stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Minced meat / mixed as desired or beef
- 2 Cans Chopped tomatoes / incl liquid
- 400 g Green beans or frozen green beans
- 2 Pc. Roughly chopped onions
- 1 Pc Yellow pepper
- 400 g Waxy potatoes
- 2,5 tbsp Savory
- 1,5 tbsp Broth / preferably beef broth
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 0,5 tsp Chilli powder
- 2 Pc Garlic cloves
- Cut the beans into pieces and cook in the vegetables, beef broth for 5 minutes. Then drain & set aside.
- Coarsely chop the onions, press the garlic, cut the paprika into small pieces.
- Peel and cut the potatoes into large pieces and cook in salted water.
- Fry the mince together with the onions / Konblauch / paprika in a large, high pan & then season with salt, pepper and chilli powder.
- Now put the beans in the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add another 250ml vegetable stock / tomato paste and the canned tomatoes. Add the savory.
- Let everything simmer for 10 minutes. Now add the potatoes in a pan and serve.
