Cherry and Almond Cake

The perfect cherry and almond cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 135 g Butter
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1,5 tsp Vanilla sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 150 g Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • 40 ml Milk
  • 40 ml Chocolate chips
  • 1 Glass Sour cherries
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 450 ml Milk
  • 50 g Almond flakes
  1. Mix the butter, sugar, milk, vanilla sugar and eggs until frothy
  2. Mix the baking powder and flour and stir in
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips as desired and put the dough in a 26/28 form and bake at 160 ° C for about 40 minutes. (Can also take longer – chopstick test)
  4. Take the finished cake out of the mold, let it cool down and put a cake ring around it
  5. Prepare the pudding according to the instructions (only 450ml milk !!) and spread it lukewarm on the cake base
