Ingredients
 

Batter

  • 2 tbsp Kirsch
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Butter
  • Butter flakes
  • Powdered sugar
  • Vanilla icecream
  • 125 g Butter
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 Pc. Vanilla pods (pulp only)
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 0,5 Pc. Lemon zest
  • 250 g Flour
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tsp Unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 tbsp Kirsch

Instructions
 

  • Make the batter out of the ingredients. Grease the Dutch Oven with butter and place on 9 glowing briquettes. Put the cherries with the juice and the kirsch in the saucepan and sprinkle with cinnamon. Spread the batter over the cherries and sprinkle a few flakes of butter on the dough. Close the lid and place 9 more briquettes on the lid. After 15 minutes, layer 4 briquettes from below on the lid and bake for another 15 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with vanilla ice cream.
