best with the Tupperware dough trap

Drain the sour cherries, reserving the juice and mixing 200 ml of it with the custard powder. Microwave at 600 watts for about 3 minutes, stirring every minute. Finally, stir in the powdered sugar and cinnamon. Stir the cherries into the mixture. Let the mixture cool. Roll out the Danish pastry and cut out six pieces using the back of the pastry cutter. Dip the serrated edges of the pastry cutter in flour and place a piece on the cutter. Brush the edge of the pastry with a little water and place a tablespoon of the filling in the center. Fold the cutter closed and press the edges together firmly. Repeat with the remaining pastry and filling. Place the pastry cutters on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush the surface with the egg yolk and condensed milk mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 210°C (top and bottom heat) for about 15 minutes. Let cool and serve.
