Cherry jam with white chocolate

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • Weigh 1 kg of cherry(s), pitted
  • 100 g white chocolate bar
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 34 minutes

Wash, stem, and pit the cherries. Combine the cherries with the preserving sugar and the juice of half a lemon in a large saucepan. Bring the cherry mixture to a boil and simmer for 4 minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from the heat and purée with a hand blender if necessary. Stir in the chocolate and immediately pour the jam into hot, rinsed, twist-off jars and seal.
