Cherry Marzipan Crumble

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g sour cherries
  • Fat for the mold
  • 100 g marzipan (raw mass)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 tbsp oat flakes
  • 5 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 100 g flour
  • 150 g butter
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash, drain, and pit the cherries. Place them in a greased baking dish. Cut the marzipan into small pieces and mix with the sugar, salt, oats, sunflower seeds, and flour. Melt the butter over low heat. Let it cool slightly and gradually add it to the flour mixture using the dough hook of a hand mixer. Briefly knead until crumbly. Sprinkle over the cherries. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat: 170°C) on the lowest rack for about 35 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
