Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 eggs, separated
- 100 g sugar
- 95 g butter
- 120 g semolina
- 400 g low-fat curd cheese
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 400 g sour cherries, drained
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Simply
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and 80g butter until fluffy. Add the quark and semolina. Mix everything thoroughly, then stir in the baking powder. Stir the drained cherries into the quark mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and then fold them in lightly. Grease an ovenproof dish with the remaining butter and pour in the quark and cherry mixture. Bake the casserole for about 40 minutes at 200°C (top/bottom heat).
