Cherry Muffins

The perfect cherry muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Flour
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 0,5 pck. Baking powder
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 2 tbsp Grated chocolate
  • 35 pcs. Sour cherries
  • Powdered sugar
  • Grated chocolate
  1. For the batter, beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, oil and water until frothy. Gradually add the baking powder and flour. Fold the chocolate shavings into the dough.
  2. Line a muffin tin with paper molds and spread the dough in it. Now spread the pitted cherries on the dough and press them in gently.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the muffins for about 30 minutes. Immediately add the chocolate shavings to the hot muffins. Lightly sprinkle the cooled muffins with icing sugar.
