Chestnut Fondants
The perfect chestnut fondants recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 125 g Butter
- 4 Pc. Eggs
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 500 g Creme de Marrons
- Rum at will
- Melt the butter, separate the egg whites and yolks
- Mix the melted butter and the crème de marrons, stir in the egg yolks, add flour and, if desired, a tablespoon of rum
- Beat the egg whites until stiff, then carefully fold in the chestnut mixture
- Pour the dough into small molds
- Bake at 180 ° C for 30 – 45 minutes, depending on the size of the pan
- Let cool down
- Before serving, the fondants can be briefly heated in the microwave and served with a scoop of ice cream, for example
